Do I have to present the hostelling membership card to stay at your hostel?
The Boc Hostels is part of the Spanish Network of Youth Hostels, especially for young people up to 30 years of age, who develop an educational project in the Balearic Islands. Therefore, people (staying only at BOC city) who are 30 years of age or older and do not have a student or teacher’s card, must present the Youth Hostel Card, which can be acquired digitally on the website of the Spanish Youth Hostel Network (www.reaj.com).
Is there any type of payment other than the reservation?
Yes, only if you stay at BOC Palma o Beach is there a tourist tax to be paid?
In low season it is 0.28€ (NOV-APR) and in high season it is 1.10€ (MAY-OCT)
Is there parking at your facilities? The parking areas are free, if not, what’s the price?
Our hostels do not have private parking.
You can park in the blue parking area paying 0,65€ per hour in the following schedule (maximum parking time 2 hours):
- From Monday to Friday: from 9am a 2:30pm and from 4:30pm to8pm
- Saturday: from 9am a 2:30pm
- Sunday and festivities FREE
- Night hours and between schedules: FREE
You can also park in the white line parking which is completely free 24/7.
Is there A/C in the room?
☀️ Mallorca is pure fire… and not only because of the party. Summers here can be intense, but don’t worry, at BOC we think of everything: all our hostels have air conditioning so you can enjoy without melting.
I’d like a quiet room. Is that possible?
Looking for peace and quiet? We’ve got that too. If you’re not here for the party and prefer a more chill vibe, we have rooms designed for you to rest comfortably. At BOC, everyone finds their place.
Can I check-in early?
🕑 Check-in from 2:00 PM. Arrived early and want to get in already? You can for just €10 (bed) or €15 (private room), subject to availability.
Need to wait but don’t want to carry your backpack around? Drop your luggage in our storage room for €5 for the whole day and go enjoy the island.
In the meantime, make yourself at home—use our bathrooms, terrace, and kitchen. At BOC, your stay starts from minute one!
We have an extra person travelling with us. Is it possible to add that person to our existing reservation please?

We are a group of friends and we’ve reserved several beds in a shared dorms / rooms. We’d like to stay all together in the same room / floor. Is that possible?

Can I pay my reservation in cash or with a card that’s different to the one used to make the reservation?
All reservations must be paid in advance before the end of the free cancellation period.
You can also pay with a different card as long as the cardholder’s name matches the name on the reservation. If someone other than the reservation holder uses their card to pay, the payment must be made through a secure payment system via a link provided by our booking system.

I’m not able to do the online check-in, will I be able to do it when I arrive at the hostel?
⚡ Online check-in: fast, easy, and mandatory. Make sure to complete it before your arrival using the link in your booking confirmation. That way, you skip the lines and head straight to the fun.
👀 If you’ve done your online check-in, you’ll have priority at reception to collect your keys. If not… you’ll have to wait behind those who did their homework.
Can I modify or cancel my reservation?
Depending on your fare, you’ll be able to cancel or modify your reservation. If you cancel or modify your reservation after the free cancellation period expired, it can have additional costs.
You can contact our team to find out whether you are within the free cancellation period or not.
You can directly contact the hostel’s reception through WhatsApp or email if you want to modify your reservation in any way or solve any doubts you may have.

How can I get from the airport to the hostel?
The Boc Palma:
From the airport you can catch bus A1 which will leave you at Plaza España. You can reach the hostel from Plaza España after walking for 5 minutes. Just head to Avenida Alemania and continue walking to Carrer Arxiduc Lluis Salvador until you reach number 46. There you’ll see a roundabout with an obelisk, the hostel is 150 meters from it.
You can also take a taxi, which is the fastest and most comfortable option, but depending on the fare it can cost between 20 to 25€.
Lastly, if you prefer to reserve a shuttle for you or your party, you can check the prices at reception. We will require your name, arrival date, number of people and flight number, and we will prepare a quote for you.
The Boc City:
From the airport you can catch bus A1 which will leave you at the bus stop number 452 Gabriel Alomar –Área de intercambio Sindicato. You can reach the hostel from the bus stop after walking for 7 minutes, which is located at Calle Son Pontivic nº 16 . Just head to Carrer de Manacor and continue walking until you see the supermarket MERCADONA on your right hand side. There, turn right to Carrer Joan Alcover and then turn at the fist left. The Boc Hostels City is 2 blocks away.
You can also take a taxi, which is the fastest and most comfortable option, but depending on the fare it can cost between 20 to 25€.
Lastly, if you prefer to reserve a shuttle for you or your party, you can check the prices at reception. We will require your name, arrival date, number of people and flight number, and we will prepare a quote for you.
The Boc Beach:
To get from the airport to The Boc Beach, take the A2 bus.
The fare is 5€ per trip, and it’s only payable in cash. The estimated travel time is about 13 to 15 minutes.
The nearest bus stop to the hostel is 473-Cala Estància. From there, it’s a 2-5 minute walk to The Boc Beach.
If you prefer to take a taxi, the ride from the airport to The Boc Beach takes around 6 to 10 minutes and costs approximately 20-25€. Payment can be made by credit card or cash.
Can I check out late from the room?
⏰ Our check-out time is before 11 AM. If you need a Late Check-Out, please note that it’s subject to availability and can only be confirmed on the day of departure.
If it’s not available, you can leave your luggage at reception for just 5€ for 24 hours and take advantage of our facilities all day.
Can I check out early from my room?
Yes, of course. Early check out is completely voluntary, that’s why the hostel will not refund the nights you won’t be staying if you choose to leave earlier than scheduled.
Do you organize activities and excursions?
Our Hostels have a wide range of activities and excursions to offer. If you want more information regarding our activities programme, please contact our front desk which is open 24h.
Are your facilities adapted for people using wheelchairs or with reduced mobility?
Our facilities are adapted, following local regulations, for people using wheelchairs and for people with reduced mobility. Please remember to notify us in advance so that we can assign you to the right room.
I am underage, can I stay at The Boc Hostels?
👶 The minimum age to stay at Boc Hostels is 14 years old, as long as you’re accompanied by a parent, guardian, and staying in a private room.
From 16 years old, you can stay on your own, but you’ll need to provide official authorization from your parent or guardian, and you’ll still need to book a private room.
Can pets also stay at The Boc Hostels?
🐶 Your four-legged friend is welcome at BOC CITY, but only in double private rooms. We want you to enjoy the BOC experience without leaving your best friend behind.
The price for their stay is 25€ (one-time payment), no surprises or extra costs. But note, this applies only at BOC CITY. BOC BEACH and BOC PALMA are still exclusive territory for humans (for now).
Do I need to bring a towel, sleeping-bag, or bed sheets?
Our rooms are fully equipped with bed linen, included in the price of your reservation.
🚿 Regarding towels, you can rent one directly at the hostel reception, and the cost is 6€ for the entire stay!
